Corbion
Two famous characters lived in Corbion. Sébastien de Corbion also called "Pistol" Sébastien was born there in 1520. In 1885, the poet Paul Verlaine loved so mush this little village that he went there for a stay.Currently, these two characters would likely have stayed at the Hotal des Ardennes or Le Relais... So, you have to go and see the rests of his house, called "maison des couleuvres", at the place called "Le Bojaban", two steps away from the Joly brook that makes the border between France and Belgium.
Corbion-sur-Semois, a little village 7 km away from Bouillon, is surrounded with forests where walks and marked paths (about 70km) lead to wonderful viewpoints such as the famous Rocher du Pendu rock, Moulin de l'Epine, Pic du Diable, Ecaillère, Clernot et Augustins. There are a great number of resting benches long these walks.
