A historical site appearing in treaties dating from the middle ages establishing the bishopric boundaries of Reims, Trier and Liege. It also served as border between the dukedom of Bouillon and Luxembourg, downstream from the mouth of the Alleines. A pretty site, close to the old metal industry of the Maka.
