Description

Suite des points noeud: 70-72-73-42-47-42-41-43-70

This short circuit takes you over the spectacular Herbeumont viaduct and past the historic priory of Conques. Along the way, you will immerse yourself in the history of the French Revolution, which left its mark here. You will also enjoy a beautiful view of Herbeumont Castle and discover a listed romantic cemetery in Mortehan. The harmony between nature and heritage gives this route a very special atmosphere.

The 20-kilometre route is relatively easy thanks to the low elevation gain. It consists mainly of asphalt roads with a short section of gravel, but part of it runs along fairly busy roads and is therefore not recommended for families with children. In Herbeumont, you will find several cafés and restaurants, while halfway along the route, in Cugnon, a bench overlooking the Semois river offers the perfect spot for a picnic break.

Don't forget to pick up the free cycling map with additional information from the Tourist Office to make the most of your discovery.
