Circuit Nature et Paysages 2 - Bertrix
Description
This route takes you through a variety of landscapes with wide open views. Right from the start, you ride through the arboretum, where a rich diversity of tree species creates a special atmosphere. The trail continues past rural villages nestled in gently rolling hills, where hedgerows and open fields form a lively patchwork.
The circuit is 23 km long and starts in the centre of Bertrix. It is fairly easy, but requires a bike suited for mixed terrain: the route combines quiet asphalt roads with stretches of unpaved tracks. A city bike is not recommended, but an all-terrain bike makes the ride very enjoyable.
Along the way, you can take a pleasant picnic break in the peaceful village of Orgeo, where a designated picnic spot awaits. If you prefer a sit-down meal or drink, Bertrix offers several places to eat and relax.
